Meet The Team
Karen McCormack
Owner & President
Karen is a lifelong entrepreneur and has started, ran and sold businesses for more than 30 years. Now, she has dedicated her time to helping both small business owners and individuals understand the current options available when it comes to their health insurance.
She has become an expert in Medicare products and will provide unbiased and objective advice to those clients who are in the Medicare system, whether they are turning 65, currently have Medicare or are under 65 with disabilities.

When Karen isn't helping people with their insurance or shamelessly spoiling her grandkids, you can find her in her (organic) garden, making jewelry, scrapbooks or cooking up anything from food to laundry soap. She is also an avid reader and environmentalist who believes in supporting local businesses.
Susie Maxwell
Sales Agent
Susie is the newest member of the MCG team, joining us recently as a Sales Agent. She brings over 25 years of experience in customer service and sales and is excited to learn about the insurance industry and how we help our clients navigate these confusing and challenging aspects of the industry. Susie loves to find personal solutions for meeting a variety of needs and will find the perfect solution for our clients.
When Susie isn’t actively helping people at work, she likes to find things at thrift stores to turn into unique and decorative things for herself and her home. She also enjoys getting out to markets, festivals and trips to the amazing Colorado mountains or heading for the sun, sea and surf anywhere there’s a beach.
Matt McCormack
Sales Agent
Matt joined the MCG team in August of 2022 as our Sales Assistant. He comes from a background as an EMT and will add a level of compassion and understanding to our work with a diverse client base that can’t be overstated. He will often be the first person a new client talks to and is dedicated to really listening to what is needed and instilling confidence in our work at MCG.
When not working, Matt can be found roaming around Illinois with his new wife, Susan, playing video games and watching hockey (with a special fondness for the Colorado Avalanche). He is also learning to like the Bears.
Autumn Plath
​Customer Service Liaison and Executive Assistant
Autumn joined the MCG team in June of 2018 and has become the trusted liaison, who our clients go to when they have questions, problems or just need reassurance. She handles our clients with the utmost respect and dignity and has learned how to navigate the maze of insurance companies and how to solve sometimes difficult and sometimes mundane problems.
When not working, Autumn is an avid runner, loves traveling all over the world, with no plans to stop anytime soon. She is into sports and all Chicago teams,
but especially Da Bears.
Kim Moore
Marketing Specialist
Kim joined the MCG team in July of 2020 and manages all of our marketing efforts. From social media to website management to setting up and promoting our webinars to sending out our email marketing campaigns, Kim is the magic sauce that makes everything happen.
When Kim is not working hard promoting our company, she can be found chasing after her precocious toddler son or helping her older daughter get ready for college. After the kiddos are all tucked into bed, Kim can be found scrapbooking or making cards late into the night, while watching any show or movie related to Star Trek.
