About the Founder
Karen McCormack understands how entrepreneurs think. She has been one for more than 30 years. She started her first company, A Kid Collection, in 1985 when she decided that participating in raising her family was more important than managing accounting for the family business. For more than 15 years Karen raised her family, along with dozens of other children, in her day care business. Karen re-entered the family manufacturing business 10 years ago to develop a strategic plan for growth, but she quickly discovered her gift for building systems and organizational structure for the small business, developing long term business relationships, and, later, in her abilities for creative design. After 5 years as CEO of the family business, she took her extensive organizational knowledge and creative design skills and founded McCormack Consulting Group, LLC.
Her specialties include organizational development, resource management and training, graphic and web design, desktop publishing, and Office Suite applications. She also has extensive experience on corporate and non-profit boards. Through McCormack Consulting Group, LLC, Karen’s vision is to be successful while helping others to do the same. For her, there is no greater satisfaction than knowing that she has helped someone achieve their goals.
